Brian Fisher has spent more than two decades figuring out what makes an image work, and just as importantly, what gets in its way. His career in visual effects has taken him from compositing on films like District 9 and Blade Runner 2049 to, most recently, supervising the visual effects for a sequence on Backrooms. But he was never particularly interested in staying inside that lane. The Lure grew out of that broader approach: a place to develop ideas, build images, solve difficult visual problems, and carry the work all the way through to the finish.
